Aware360’s iDriveAware and its newest solution, Aware4Duty have each received nominations for the final round of judging at the 2019 Global Petroleum Awards (GPS Awards) in the Health & Safety category.
The GPS Awards event recognizes and celebrates the organizations who are leaders in the oil and gas industry – those who are driving change, demonstrating excellence, and promoting health advancement. The Health & Safety Award goes to acknowledge new and innovative technologies that are working to enhance the HSE record of the energy industry.
Aware360’s iDriveAware received its nomination for improving driver behavior and preventing distracted driving. iDriveAware combats distracted driving in the workplace and helps employers manage the safety of their driving workforce. Unlike traditional telematics programs, iDriveAware focuses on the vehicle, not the person.
Aware4Duty, a new app that evaluates a worker’s mental fitness, prevents incidents before they occur and elevates safety and performance on the worksite. Within 60 seconds, employees perform a game-like cognitive screen to ensure alertness for the job. Fatigue and impairment are one of the hardest things for an organization to monitor, Aware4Duty takes that burden off supervisors and objectively screens workers to determine if they are fit to be working.
